This is an annual event which I simply cannot resist posting each year. Every year we go down to the center of Santa Fe to see this light show. And every year we say, “Wow, this is the best year ever!” And it’s funny, because even after all these years, it never seems to grow old.
This time I was trying out the Sony A7riii with a Voightlander f1.2 lens. Conclusion: It sees in the dark. Actually, it sees better than I do in the dark. Happy New Year to all.

Photographically, I wanted to see what the Nikon Z50 with THE KIT LENS would do under these conditions. I was amazed that I got anything. Next test: the Canyon Road Walk on Christmas Eve.
