Moment Captured:

I make photographic sketches, photographic statements just for the sheer joy of it. I make these images to journal my own life and to attempt to make sense of time, which is so damned slippery that it baffles me. These images are simply "everyday" in my opinion, but hopefully others will find something of value in them.These are snippets of my-time-stopped (really?), a moment that I lived, and a record of something that caught my eye: an interesting play of light, a juxtaposition, an ordered structure, a glimmer, or a sudden insight •••••••••••• Nothing more. But it's the most satisfying thing I've ever done. It has lost none of its allure over many years.

Pecos Historical Park, NM

Two days ago we packed up the van and headed out to this amazing site in New Mexico. It’s called Pecos National Historical Park. It was sublime.
